Before coming in for a spray tan appointment with us, we recommend that you thoroughly exfoliate your skin to remove any dead skin cells. This ensures your tan looks smooth and even and won’t rub off in areas like your elbows and knees.

A fresh spray tan can transfer onto clothes, so it’s a good idea to wear something loose and in a dark colour. Our tan formula will wash out of most fabrics, but avoid wearing your favourite outfit just in case.

Avoid wearing make-up, moisturiser, perfume or deodorant when getting a spray tan. These can prevent the tan from sticking properly to your skin and cause discolouration.

After your spray tan, keep your skin hydrated for a longer lasting tan. Avoid getting your skin wet for the first two hours, and don’t work up a sweat – perspiration can cause a new tan to run.

Remember that the tan will continue to develop, so if you don’t feel like you are dark enough initially, wait another day and check again.
